Uber

Uber

There are situations when a car would be handy to take you home. You are abroad without a car, or you don’t even have a car, it’s night and you don’t want to take the risk using the public transport. Of course there are the taxi companies, but they charge you with a crazy amount of money…I don’t even talk about being a foreigner, because then you might be tricked with double, triple of the normal price.

There is a cheaper option, and this is Uber! I met this app in Los Angeles, we were about leaving a club at 2 am, and a car showed up and took us home, even stopped at a burger place to get some takeaway food. What a nice driver was! In the United States it’s a really famous application, and you can use it in almost every city.

Here is some q&a, and some useful tips about Uber! It’s gonna be super easy to travel in a cheap way around the big cities!

Eurotrip I.

Eurotrip I.

Go to a Eurotrip with car? Yes! We gave 1 month for this “project”, without actually planning too much. We had several days without knowing where we gonna spend the night, it’s quiet exciting that way.

We headed to the north of Italy, first stop was in…

Jesolo

I didn’t know too much about, just heard the name sometimes, but Man, it was really good! We chose it because of the beach and the proximity to Venice. Nice people, sea, and finally Italy!!

Accommodation tip:

Almar Hotel: a bit pricey, but worth the money, you can easily find budget hotel options in the town

Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai

We were already planning from the beginning to go to the north of Thailand. Of course we also heard from a lot of people, that it’s amazing, especially if someone likes nature. In the last years, i guess i became really sensitive to the nature around me. I see a nice flower, color, hill, mountain, river or any beautiful thing and it imbues my soul immediately, sometimes even too much, so it needs to leave through my eyes :).

I had the feeling, that they took out all the good things from Bangkok: big city atmosphere, lot of restaurants, coffee shops, public transport, culture; they surrounded with lot of green, national parks, mountains, and that’s how Chiang Mai was born.

We spent two weeks here, and i bet i don’t even need to say, in the end it was really hard to leave, also because it was the end of our amazing 5 weeks long supertrip in Thailand.

How to have fun in Chiang Mai?

Lot of national parks are located around the city as i mentioned before. You can go for a hike, or even use the zipline in the forest like a Tarzan. We actually didn’t try this one.

Koh Samui

Koh Samui

After Krabi, the faith (or Bangkok Airways) brought us to this unbeliavable island, in south of Thailand. Fifty minutes flight and we arrived to the cutest airport i’ve ever seen in my life. Tropical bamboo huts next to each other, without any big usual airport building. So, this is Koh Samui, the place I’ve dreamed about for years.

Why this place is so special?

Crystal clear ocean, white sand, hot wind. Of course you need to find the perfect location for that. Not all of the beaches of Samui are like that. We’ve been in several places, and i liked Chaweng Beach the most. It was exactly how  i’ve just written.

Krabi: the heaven on earth

Krabi: the heaven on earth

Hi My Dear,

It was enough of Bangkok, so we decided to head to the islands; ocean, sand, lots of sun, that’s what we needed. On the same day, we booked a flight with Air Asia, two people, destination: Krabi, cost: 100 dollars. They have also international flights, not just domestic. You can easily reach China, India, Malaysia or Australia for a reasonable price.

After the capital, Krabi seemed like a heaven on the earth, but not so fast – before reaching our place, we had a quiet “nice” boat drive. Our hotel was reachable only by water. We arrived to the pier of Krabi, where they have let us know, that their boat had some problem, so they are trying to find us another one. Hmm, that would be okay in daytime, but it was the middle of the night, dark, dark ceiling.

10 minutes later, they came with a long tail boat. Below you can find a picture which tells everything.
